Scar revision at SEPEMA uses a tattoo machine fitted with treatment-specific needle cartridges — a more intensive technique than device-based microneedling. It works at a depth capable of genuine tissue remodelling, not simply refreshing the skin's surface.
No topical anaesthetic is used. Healthy blood flow to the treatment area is essential — the controlled inflammatory response is what triggers collagen production and the remodelling process.

What to expect.
Free consultation
In clinic or via photos sent in advance. Ally assesses the scar's history, age, and characteristics and sets honest expectations about what's achievable.
The treatment
No topical anaesthetic. Sessions range from 40 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes depending on area size. The treated area will appear red immediately after — this is expected.
Initial healing
Mild redness and sensitivity for the first few days. Silicone tape is strongly recommended between sessions. Comprehensive aftercare instructions are emailed after your appointment.
Between sessions
A minimum of 12 weeks between sessions where PIH risk is present. Most clients require 2–4 sessions. Significant improvement is often visible 2–4 weeks after each session.
Surgical scars

A free consultation is strongly recommended before booking. While sessions can be booked directly, Ally encourages all new clients to take advantage of a complimentary consultation first — in clinic or via video call. This ensures the most appropriate session type and duration is selected for your specific scar.

Consultation

A 15% deposit is required at time of booking, deducted from your total on the day. Deposits are transferable with 48 hours notice.
